Carlos M. Jimenez is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer known for crafting striking visuals that elevate every story he touches. A U.S. Marine veteran, Carlos discovered his passion for filmmaking while working at a local movie theater, where the escape of cinema inspired his path into visual storytelling.

After his service, he earned a BA from Columbia College Chicago, specializing in cinematography and lighting. Carlos honed his craft as a Gaffer, joining Hollywood’s Local 728 and lighting countless short and feature-length films with precision and artistry.

Now, as a cinematographer, Carlos brings a distinctive eye and a deep understanding of light to award-winning features and shorts, capturing the heart of every story with intention and care.
